About Us

Latin Caribe Wellness Network is a division of PanaCarib Business Solutions (PanaCarib) founded in Panama. Pana Carib is also a registered company in Jamaica, West Indies. Positive Tourism Network established in 2002, was rebranded as PanaCarib Business Solutions as part of its strategic plans in 2009.

The company has focused its competencies in: Web design and web hosting, health and wellness tourism and marketing.

Brief History of Positive Tourism Network:

A leader in tourism news feature broadcasting, Positive Tourism earned a broadcasting award for its innovative approach from Counterpart International at the Caribbean Media Exchange Award in 2004 for a Tourism Feature on the power of reggae music to stimulate tourism through its music ambassadors. (Music Ambassadors represented on the programme were: Abijah, Denroy Morgan, Founder of Morgan Heritage, Ernie Smith; Bush Man, Junior Reid, Prezident Brown, etc.)

During the tourism feature programme, Caribbean Tourism Roundtable, in 2005, we explored the potential of Health Tourism with special guest, Dr. Anthony Vendryes, complementary and alternative medical specialist. This programme identified the untapped potential of health tourism, which was reported by Dr. Vendryes with over 3 million hits in a Google search.

We have since been on an exciting journey to develop health tourism in Jamaica as a mainstay, helping to integrate a fragmented industry, which would include the following segments:

• Medical Tourism

• Dental Tourism

• Spa (and Thalassotherapy)

• Wellness and Fitness

• Sports Tourism (not for spectators)

• Culinary Tourism (aka Food Tourism)

• Adult Wellness Programme

The Company established the first spa association in Jamaica – Caribbean Resort & Day Spa Association in February 7, 2005 in an official launch ceremony endorsed by The Ministry of Tourism and its Agencies (The Jamaica Tourist Board, Tourism Product Development Company, etc.,) the Day Spa Association and International Medical Spa Association, USA.

Positive Tourism received its mandate from Aloun Assamba, the Minister of Tourism, in 2005, to pioneer the way in establishing Jamaica as a health and spa preferred destination.

The integrated approach to internet marketing and web-based interface has landed Theo Chambers, Chairman and CEO of Positive Tourism Network, the position of 4th largest Internet Webhosting Company in the Caribbean, ahead of Cable and Wireless (LIME) and Digicel.
